Please keep in mind, for a paper to be published in the conference proceedings, and be scheduled for presentation or display in the poster sessions at the conference, at least one author must register and pay appropriate fee by May 10, 2006. A paper not registered by any author will be removed from publication.
1). For overseas authors/presenter/participants* (including Taiwan, Macau, and Hong Kong), please download this registration form (Word or PDF) and fill in your information appropriately. Then mail your registration form and payment to the Services Science Global. The address is given on the registration form. If you would like to wire your payment to the conference or any other question, please send your request email to registration@ssglobal.org.

2. The IEEE PDF eXpress Web site is now open to SOLI 06 authors (Posted on Mar. 25, 2006)
All the papers will be included in the IEEE Xplore search database, so please strictly follow the given instructions by the IEEE. The final paper has to pass the PDF checking required by the IEEE. Only after you receive the PDF file from the IEEE PDF eXpress, then you can submit your final in PDF to 2006SOLI@ssglobal.org.
3. Final paper submission (Posted on Mar. 22, 2006)
The new IEEE Xplore® Requirements for PDF has been enforced as of 2005. All conference articles submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore must adhere to the IEEE Xplore PDF specification for compatibility. IEEE PDF eXpress helps authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function).

4: Paper acceptance/rejection decision starts to go out (Posted on Mar. 20, 2006)
We are sending off decisions on papers' suitability for presentation/publication at this conference. However, there are many papers that are still on reviewers' hands. It might take a few more days for you to get our decision on your paper if you haven't received one yet. Thanks for your patience.

A paper not registered by any author will be removed from publication.
6. Invitation Letter for authors/presenters or participants
For your travel funding or visa application, an official paper acceptance letter (i.e., invitation letter) for authors/presenters will be mailed out upon your request. Please send your request to Program Chair, Prof. Shen, at hzshen@sjtu.edu.cn, and also copy your request to jint@sjtu.edu.cn. In your request, please clearly describe your name, paper ID, affiliation, and also mailing address if you need an original signed (hard copy) paper acceptance/invitation letter. If you need a letter for each of your co-authors, please clearly indicate such a need in your request.
For a participant who doesn't have a paper, please do the same as a paper author while clearly indicating you are a participant without a paper.
7. Publication Questions
All the accepted papers will be published in a conference CD-ROW and hard copy proceedings by IEEE. All accepted papers will be automatically included in the IEEE Xplore search database, which then become the sources of indexed papers by other search databases, e.g., EI, ISTP, etc. The IEEE publication office rather than the organizing committee manages the publication issue.
Some quality papers will be recommended to some journal special issue (e.g., International Journal of Services Operations and Informatics, etc.).
8. Submissions are under full peer review (Posted on Feb. 10, 2006)
We have received about 300 submissions already, not including papers covered by invited/special sessions. We appreciate all the authors' interest and support.
9. Visa Application Documentation
Please contact the Chinese Consulate or Embassy in your region to find out the required documents for applying for a Chinese Visa. Typically, you can apply for a tourist visa without an invitation letter. Of course, we will provide you an official paper acceptance letter if your paper will be accepted, and an invitation letter will be also available upon request. Please send you request to Program Chair, Prof. Shen, at hzshen@sjtu.edu.cn.
10. Paper identification number (Posted in 2005)
All the submissions are replied with corresponding Paper ID. When you inquire the status of your paper or any other conference related information, please have the Paper ID enclosed in your email subject.
